About

Javan is a seasoned quality assurance specialist and auditor with over eight years of experience across the private and public sectors, as well as International Non-Governmental Organizations (INGOs) throughout Africa. He has a strong track record in audit and assurance services, compliance, and risk management, with extensive experience in donor-funded projects supported by United Nations agencies, FCDO, Global Fund, USAID, CDC, SIDA, EU, BMZ, and DFID. His work has spanned multiple African countries including Nigeria, Ethiopia, Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Tanzania, Malawi, Somalia, and Sudan, where he has successfully navigated complex regulatory and operational environments. He specializes in internal and external audit and assurance services, including financial statement audits, special purpose and IFRS audits and reviews, compliance and internal audit assessments, risk assessments, micro-assessments, and performance evaluations, ensuring alignment with statutory requirements, donor agreements, internal controls, budgets, and International Accounting Standards. Since November 2025, Javan has served as a Manager at Keldine & Co. LLP, supporting the delivery of external and internal audits, internal controls reviews, spot checks, and risk assessments for clients in both the private and public sectors. Prior to this, he worked as an Internal Auditor at the Center for International Health Education and Biosecurity (CIHEB Kenya) from May 2025 to September 2025, where he conducted internal audit reviews and risk assessments, performed spot checks to ensure donor compliance, provided technical support across departments, and prepared quarterly audit reports and recommendations to the Board. Earlier in 2025, he worked as a Consultant at PKF Eastern Africa, participating in verifications and field visits under the Kenya Off-Grid Solar Access Project for the Ministry of Energy and Petroleum, ensuring products and installations were delivered and utilized as intended. From February 2016 to July 2024, Javan worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) Kenya, serving primarily public sector clients. He was involved both as a team member and team leader in audits of donor-funded projects implemented by INGOs and NGOs across Eastern Africa, taking part in engagement planning, budgeting, execution, team leadership, preparation of audit reports and management letters, and client relationship management.
